College Bowl Schedule – Game-By-Game Odds & Best Bets
December 13
Celebration Bowl
South Carolina St. (9-3) vs. Prairie View A&M (10-3)
Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
12 p.m. (ABC)
Buzz: Prairie-View won 10 of its final 11 games to capture the SWAC title. The Panthers outlasted Jackson State 23-21 in the SWAC title game as QB Cameron Peters amassed 294 yards passing and 100 yards rushing. South Carolina St. rolled to the MEAC Championship with 7 straight victories, including a 28-17 win over Delaware State in the title game. William Atkins IV leads the Bulldogs’ offense.
Best Bet: There’s no number posted on this game as of publication. Expect the Bulldogs to be a small favorite, around 4.5 points.
LA Bowl
Boise State (9-4) vs. Washington (8-4)
SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, Calif.
8 p.m. (ABC)
Buzz: The Broncos galloped past UNLV to win the Mountain West title for the third straight year. But the Washington Huskies bring plenty of bark and bite. The 8-4 Huskies held their own in the Big Ten this season but were underwater at 4-6 ATS. Desmond Williams Jr. leads the potent Husky offense, which return to Southern California for the 2nd time in a month. Washington scored 38 or more points in its past 5 Big Ten wins. These teams met in the 2019 Las Vegas Bowl, won by Washington 38-7. The Broncos defense runs out of gas in the second half this time, and Huskies mush, mush, mush for the win and cover.

December 16
Veterans Bowl
Troy (8-5) vs. Jacksonville State (8-5)
Cranton Bowl, Montgomery, Ala.
8 p.m. (ABC)
Buzz: Two Alabama “Group of 5” schools meet in Montgomery for state bragging rights. Jacksonville State came up short in the C-USA Championship Game, scoring 15 points in the 4th quarter in a 19-15 loss to Kennesaw State. The Trojans horse turned into a hearse in the Sun Belt championship as James Madison punched its College Football Playoff ticket with a 31-14 win. Troy, however, held for the backdoor cover as 21-point underdogs. Expect a very competitive game between 2 evenly matched teams that have no common opponents. During Bowl Season, that means take the points.
Best Bet: Jacksonville State +3.5 (-105) Hard Rock Bet via OddsJam
December 17
Cure Bowl
Old Dominion (9-3) vs. South Florida (9-3)
Camping World Stadium, Orlando
5 p.m. (ESPN)
Buzz: This “neutral” site game is about 80 miles from the South Florida campus. That gives the Bulls a slight edge. USF flirted with a “Group of 5” College Football Playoff berth until losses to Memphis and Navy in a 3-week span. The Bulls recovered by winning their final 2 games by a combined 100-21 score over UAB & Rice. ODU won 5 straight to close the season to finish 2nd in the Sun Belt Conference.
Both schools suffered major losses after the regular season. Monarchs QB Colton Joseph entered the transfer portal. Joseph gave ODU 302.6 yards of total offense per game. USF head coach Alex Golesh jumped to Auburn. Ohio State offensive coordinator Brian Hartline coaches the Bulls next season. Meanwhile, OL coach Kevin Patrick gets the interim clipboard in Orlando. The talent pool on USF’s side of the ball runs deeper, especially after Joseph's departure. It’s one thing to lose your head coach. It’s quite another to be without your top-tier starting QB. And for USF, there’s no better way to impress your next coach than with a decisive home state bowl win.
Best Bet: South Florida -5.5 (-105) Hard Rock Bet via OddsJam
68 Ventures Bowl
Louisiana (6-6) vs. Delaware (6-6)
Hancock Whitney Stadium, Mobile, Ala.
8:30 p.m. (ESPN)
Buzz: The Ragin’ Cajuns got good news with the reinstatement of DB Tyree Skipper for this game. Skipper initially received a ban for the rest of the season after an incident on Nov. 8. The Blue Hens capped their first FBS season with a bowl bid, but dropped 3 of 5 down the stretch. Louisiana runs deeper on both sides of the ball. The Cajuns cook up a win and cover.
Best Bet: Louisiana -2.5 (-115) Hard Rock Bet via OddsJam

December 18
XBox Bowl
Missouri State (7-5) vs. Arkansas State (6-6)
Ford Center at The Star, Frisco, Texas
9 p.m. (ESPN2)
Buzz: Arkansas State finished 2nd in the Sun Belt Conference as struggling down the stretch. But Jaylen Raynor delivered in the clutch against App State to secure the Red Wolves' bowl bid. Missouri State put together the program's best season in this centuiry. They beat 6 FBS opponents for the first time since 1990. But they dropped its final 2 games of the season to fall to 4th in Conference USA. And last week, Coastal Carolina hired away Missouri State's Ryan Beard to be the Chanticleers' next head football coach. Raynor and the Red Wolves carry some momentum in this game against a team whose coach is headed elsewhere next season. Take them to win this in our College Football Bowl Best Bets.
Best Bet: Arkansas State ML (-110) Caesars Sportsbook via OddsJam
December 19
Myrtle Beach Bowl
Kennesaw State (10-3) vs. Western Michigan (9-4)
Brooks Stadium, Conway, S.C.
11 a.m. (ESPN2)
Buzz: Nothing beats a college bowl game at 11 a.m. on a Friday, especially one feature the MAC Champion Western Michigan Broncos and the Conference USA Champion Kennesaw State Owls. Both coaches, Jerry Mack at Kennesaw State and Western Michigan's Lance Taylor, secured lucrative extensions in the aftermath of their respective conference championship victories. Each coach received strong commitments to build their programs, as well. Expect a close, competitive contest between two evenly matched teams who are truly happy to be here. Take the points in our College Football Bowl Best Bets.
Best Bet: Kennesaw State +4.5 (-110) BetMGM via OddsJam
Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl
Memphis (8-4) vs. N.C. State (7-5)
Raymond James Stadium, Tampa
2:30 p.m. (ESPN)
Buzz: The Tigers began 6-0 and upset No. 18-at-the-time USF to land in the conversation for a possible "Group of 5" playoff bit. But, they got declawed down the stretch and dropped their final 3 American conference games. Behind the solid play of QB C.J. Bailey, N.C. State won 3 of 4 to close the season and secure its bowl bid. The Wolfpack's signature win of the season came at home in the form of a 48-36 win over No. 8-at-the-time Georgia Tech. N.C. State clearly comes into this game on the right track and desperately wants to secure a bowl victory to use as launching pad for next season.
Best Bet: N.C. State -5.5 (-112) DraftKings via OddsJam

December 22
Idaho Potato Bowl
Washington State (6-6) vs. Utah State (6-6)
Albertsons Stadium, Boise
2 p.m. (ESPN)
Buzz: Washington State hired Missouri offensive coordinator Kirby Moore to be its new head after former coach, Jimmy Rogers, left to become head coach at Iowa State. Moore becomes the Cougars' 5th head coach since 2019. Washington State clinched its bowl berth with a win on the final day of the season against Oregon State. DC Jesse Bobbit is expected to serve as head coach for WSU, with many in Rogers' staff also sticking around for the game. The Cougars lost to ACC finalist Virginia and CFB Playoff team Ole Miss by a combined 5 points. The Aggies, meanwhile, lost their final game of the season 25-24 to eventual Mountain West champion Boise State (38-10 losers to Washington in the LA Bowl). A relatively clean game from WSU delivers the win and cover here, despite the coaching turmoil.
Best Bet: Washington State -3 (-110) DraftKings via OddsJam
December 23
Boca Raton Bowl
Toledo (8-4) vs. Louisville (8-4)
Flagler Credit Union Stadium, Boca Raton, Fla.
2 p.m. (ESPN)
Buzz: Nothing says "Christmas Week" like the Boca Raton Bowl at 2 p.m. on a Tuesday. Both teams are 8-4, but the Cards are 8.5-point favorite. The Cards knocked off the Hurricanes in Miami, and briefly flirted with a run at the ACC title, But they subsequently dropped 3 straight to Cal, Clemson and SMU. The Cards, however, are tied with CFB Playoff entry James Madison in ESPN's Football Power Index.
Louisville holds a clear edge in terms of talent, physicality and skill. Louisville wideout Chris Ball tore his ACL in that loss to SMU. The Cardinals and Georgia Bulldogs canceled their planned season-opener next season. The ACC squeezed into the CFB Playoff. Thus, the conference needs to make a statement in bowl games such as this. The Rockets named Mike Jacobs as their new head coach last week. Toledo lost its head coach, Jason Candle, to UConn after 10 seasons. Former OC Robert Weiner pilots the Rockets as their interim head coach in this game.
Best Bet: Louisville -7.5 (-108) at Hard Rock Bet via OddsJam
New Orleans Bowl
Western Kentucky (8-4) vs. Southern Miss (7-5)
Caesars Superdome, New Orleans
5:30 p.m. (ESPN)
Buzz: The Hilltoppers lost their final game of the regular season 37-34 to Jacksonville State and missed out on an opportunity to play in the Conference USA championship game. Southern Miss QB Braylon Braxton threw 23 TD passes this season against just 7 picks. These teams are tied in the ESPN's Football Power Index. But oddsmakers give a Western Kentucky a 4-point edge. Southern Miss coach Charles Huff left (perhaps not in a huff) for Memphis. But the Golden Eagles promoted OC Blake Anderson into the head coaching spot, ensuring minimal disruption here. And Hattiesburg just a 1 hour, 45 minute drive away. Thus, whatever crowd shows will likely be adorned in black and gold.
Best Bet: Southern Miss +4.5 (-115) at FanDuel via OddsJam
Frisco Bowl
UNLV (10-3) vs. Ohio (8-4)
Ford Center at The Star, Frisco, Texas
9 p.m. (ESPN)
Buzz: Neither team really wants to be here. The Rebels failed for the third straight season to defeat Boise State in the Mountain West championship. The Bobcats closed their MAC regular season by winning 4 of 5 conference games. It wasn't enough to earn a spot in the MAC title game. UNLV QB Anthony Colandrea threw for 3,275 yards and 23 TDs, against just 8 picks, this season. Coach Dan Mullen and the Rebels are flirting with an extension. Extension or not, the Rebels will be ready to score early and often.
Best Bet: UNLV -4.5 (-102) at Caesars Sportsbook via OddsJam
December 24
Hawai'i Bowl
California (7-5) vs. Hawai'i (8-4)
Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex, Honolulu
8 p.m. (ESPN)
Buzz: The Hawai'i Bowl stands as a Christmas Eve tradition along with heading to church, gathering with your family, and watching "It's A Wonderful Life." At least for those on the West Coast and in the 50th State. Cal nabs a small line as the favorite due to its respectable showing in the ACC and the overall quality of its competition. The Bears beat a pair of ranked teams - Louisville and SMU - in the regular season. This game's home field advantage is hard to ignore. But Cal offers a potent run-pass mix with QB J.K. Sagapolutele and RB Kendrick Raphael. And this game gives the Bears a nice launching point into next season.
Best Bet: California ML (-120) at Hard Rock Bet via OddsJam
December 26
GameAbove Sports Bowl
Central Michigan (7-5) vs. Northwestern (6-6
Ford Field, Detroit
1 p.m., ESPN
Buzz: The Huskies held their own in the Big Ten this season and even scored a backdoor cover against Michigan at Wrigley Field. CMU finds itself outclassed close to home at Ford Field.
Best Bet: Northwestern -9.5 (-120) at Hard Rock Bet via OddsJam
Rate Bowl
New Mexico (9-3) vs. Minnesota (7-5)
Chase Field, Phoenix
4:30 p.m. (ESPN)
Buzz: The Golden Gophers continue to slum in the middle of the Big Ten pack. But they bring an edge front and back into this showdown against New Mexicos. The Lobos, however, closed the season on a heater, winning their final 6 games. The real show here comes on the sidelines with coaches Jason Eck of New Mexico and Minnesota's P.J. Fleck. The Lobos went 6-0 at home. This one offers a home-away-from-home fell in (relatively) nearby Phoenix. And the underdogs get the win outright here.
Best Bet: New Mexico +2.5 (-110) at FanDuel via OddsJam
First Responder Bowl
FIU (7-5) vs. UTSA (6-6)
Gerald J. Ford Stadium, Dallas
8 p.m. (ESPN)
Buzz: First-year coach Willie Simmons guided FIU to a bowl berth. The Panthers closed out with 4 straight wins. UTSA carries a decided edge in talent and depth. QB Owen McCown, whose dad (Josh) and uncle (Luke) both played in the NFL. FIU covered in 75% of its games this season. But the talent disparity and desire here delivers the win and cover for UTSA.
Best Bet: UTSA -5.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook via OddsJam
December 27
Military Bowl
Pittsburgh (8-4) vs. East Carolina (8-4)
Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, Annapolis, Maryland
11 a.m., ESPN
Buzz: There's no denying this bowl comes with a side dish of disappointment for the Panthers, who flirted with an ACC title and possible College Football Playoff bid just over a month ago. Losses to Notre Dame and Miami sent the Panthers to this prestigious game. If the Panthers choose to play to their potential, this game may see a 20-plus point outcome. East Carolina's only 3 losses came to bowl teams. The Panthers have turned to 2026 with fully-dilated pupils and have their QB (Mason Heintschel) and top RB (Ja'Kyrain Turner) back in the fold.
Best Bet: Pittsburgh -10 (-115) at DraftKings via OddsJam
Pinstripe Bowl
Penn State (6-6) vs. Clemson (7-5)
Yankee Stadium, Bronx, New York
12 p.m. (ABC)
Buzz: Dabo Swinney may be a Yankees fan. But neither the Tigers nor Nittany Lions planned to finish their season just down the street from the Bronx Zoo. The House That Jeter Built shares the baseball-venue spotlight with Fenway Park today. Despite a terrible early start, both teams finished their season strong. Penn State doing so under interim coach Terry Smith. Clemson (4) and Penn State (3) have combined to win their last 7 games. Both rosters remained surprisingly intact given the concerns over potential exits. We're not sure Dabo can handle the cold, never mind the rest of the Tigers. The gritty Nittany Lions deliver one more time for Smith (who will remain on Matt Campbell's staff next season.)
Best Bet: Penn State +3.5 (-115) at DraftKings via OddsJam
Fenway Bowl
UConn (9-3) vs. Army (6-5)
Fenway Park, Boston
2:15 p.m. (ABC)
Buzz: UConn makes its second consecutive Fenway Bowl appearance. Last season, the Huskies knocked off North Carolina 27-14 just a few days after the Heels hired Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson to run their football program. The Cadets fell short 17-16 to Navy, but scored the backdoor cover as 6.5-point underdogs. It'll be hard to bounce back after such a disappointing loss to their ultimate rival. Interim coach/offensive coordinator guides Gordon Sammis guides the Huskies. UConn rides QB Joe Fagano to their 10th win of the season. But Army's defense never rests. Fenway Park offers the oldest venue for any bowl game.
Best Bet: Under 43.5 Points (-115) at DraftKings via OddsJam
Pop-Tarts Bowl
Georgia Tech (9-3) vs. BYU (11-2)
Camping World Stadium, Orlando
3:30 p.m. (ABC)
Buzz: The best trophy in all of sports goes to the winner of everyone's favorite bowl game. What player won't be motivated to run through a brick wall just to get the chance to munch on a monstrous Pop-Tart. This is the first non-playoff game of "Playoffurary" featuring 2 ranked teams. The Yellowjackets dropped 2 of their last 3 games of the regular season. including their final 2 ACC games. They slipped out of the ACC Championship Game and College Football Playoff picture by doing so. BYU got smoked 34-7 by Texas Tech in the Big 12 title game. Tech offers a much better matchup. The total here (56.5 points) doesn't do justice to either defense, never mind two coaches who preach smash-mouth football.
Best Bet: Under 56.5 Points (-105) at FanDuel via OddsJam
Arizona Bowl
Miami (Ohio) (7-6) vs. Fresno State (8-4)
Arizona Stadium, Tucson
3:30 p.m. (CW Network)
Buzz: This game carries the coolest sponsor in college football: Snoop Dogg. Miami won this game last season. But the Bulldogs, naturally, love bowls, having won 5 of their past 6 postseason appearances. Fresno State's defense controls the line of scrimmage, and the outcome.
Best Bet: Fresno State -6 (-110) at BetMGM via OddsJam
New Mexico Bowl
North Texas (11-2) vs. San Diego State (9-3)
University Stadium, Albuquerque, New Mexico
5:45 p.m. (ESPN)
Buzz: North Texas whiffed on its chance to earn a "Group of 5" playoff berth with a 34-21 loss to Tulane in the American Conference title game. Going from the possibility of getting demolished by Ole Miss in the Playoff to the mighty New Mexico Bowl carries a bitter aftertaste. That's compounded with the departure of head coach Eric Morris to Oklahoma State. The spread shrunk from North Texas -6.5 down to 3.5 after news of Morris' departure. Meanwhile San Diego State goes right back to the same venue in which it lost its final regular season game 23-17, and a shot at the Mountain West championship.
Best Bet: San Diego State (+3.5) at DraftKings via OddsJam
Gator Bowl
Virginia (10-3) vs. Missouri (8-4)
EverBank Stadium, Jacksonville, Florida
7:30 p.m. (ABC)
Buzz: This number opened at Missouri -7 but has tightened since, Missouri Coach Eli Drinkwitz spurned multiple overtures from other schools and has since landed Chip Lindsey as offensive coordinator. Virginia coach Tony Elliott began the season on the coaching hot seat. The Cavaliers saw their Golden Ticket to the CFB Playoff torn asunder by Duke - DUKE - in the ACC Championship Game. Drinkwitz and the Tigers find the motivation to win this one and nab the cover on a minimized line.
Best Bet: Missouri -3.5 (-110) at Hard Rock Bet via OddsJam
Texas Bowl
LSU (7-5) vs. Houston (9-3)
NRG Stadium, Houston
9:15 p.m. (ESPN)
Buzz: The Cougars are slight favorites in this near-home game. Late-season losses to West Virginia, and TCU in the penultimate week of the season, crashed Houston's hopes for a berth in the Big 12 title game. No college team has enjoyed more of a "Space Mountain" journey this season than LSU. The Tigers and Brian Kelly began the season with hopes of an SEC title. Five losses later, the Tigers nabbed the Big One in reeling in Lane Kiffin to coach next year and beyond. LSU's defense would dominate this matchup in any other circumstance. And even with DC Blake Baker sticking around to run that squad, the Cougars dig in their claws and swipe one from their feline brethren.
Best Bet: Houston -2.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook via OddsJam
December 31
Sun Bowl
Arizona State (8-4) vs. Duke (8-5)
Sun Bowl Stadium, El Paso, Texas
2 p.m. (CBS)
Buzz: The Sun Bowl goes metaphorically dark this year with a matchup between the Blue Devils and Sun Devils. However, the nation's second-oldest bowl takes place in the most picturesque college football setting east of Pasadena and west of West Point. And this year's matchup is both sweet and crunchy. Sponsor "Tony the Tiger" would be proud. Even though Duke won the ACC championship, the Devils had no shot at a playoff berth with five losses. ASU, meanwhile, failed to defend its 2024 Big 12 title this season. Duke QB Darian Mensah threw for 3,646 yards and 30 TDs against just five picks. He's the real deal. ASU coach Kenny Dillingham sticks with Jeff Sims at QB. Sims won 3-of-4 starts after replacing the injured Sam Leavitt. The challenge for ASU remains its defense. It remains a concern against the ACC champs, who look to build on their conference title. Duke lost several players to the portal and NFL, notably offensive lineman Brian Parker and CB Chandler Rivers. The game airs on CBS for the 59th consecutive year.
Best Bet: Duke -2.5 (-118) at FanDuel via OddsJam
January 2
Holiday Bowl
No. 23 Arizona (9-3) vs. SMU (8-4)
Snapdragon Stadium, San Diego
8 p.m. (FOX)
Buzz: The Wildcats help to close traditional bowl season with this Big 12 - ACC matchup against SMU. QB Noah Fifita needs a win to earn his second 10-win season in three years for the Wildcats. The Wildcats haven't lost a game since October and closed out with 5 straight victories. Arizona won those games by an average score of 34-17, beating two ranked teams along the way. SMU fell hard in the ACC this season with three conference losses. The Mustangs and QB Kevin Jennings remain haunted by their 38-10 loss to Penn State in the CFB Playoff last year. Key factors include Arizona's turnover margin (+16) vs. SMU's (+11) and its edge in time of possession. But the Mustangs defense remains stingy in the red zone.
Best Bet: Arizona -3 (-105) at FanDuel via OddsJam
