No. 1 - Emmitt Smith

Emmitt Smith is regarded as one of the best running backs in NFL history. He achieved 11 seasons with 1,000 rushing yards or more, making him the all-time leading rusher in NFL history. He also led the NFL in rushing touchdowns three times and rushing yards four times. 

Emmitt Smith appeared in eight Pro Bowls, made four All-Pro first team selections, and was awarded the MVP and the Offensive Rookie of the Year awards. Smith was a big factor in the victories of three Super Bowls for the Cowboys.

No. 2 - Bob Lilly

Arguably the greatest defensive tackle in NFL history, Bob Lilly had awesome success with the Cowboys. Lilly received 11 Pro Bowl selections and was elected to the All-Pro first-team seven times. The one-time Super Bowl champion recorded just shy of 100 sacks throughout his career. 

Lilly was a staple of a Cowboys defense that boasted multiple Hall of Famers, including Herb Adderley, Mel Renfro, and Cliff Harris. He also recorded 18 fumble recoveries, while returning three of them for touchdowns. Lilly was the first recipient of the famous Cowboys Ring of Honor that you see surrounding AT&T Stadium.

No. 3 - Randy White

Entering the league as soon as Lilly retired, Randy White had big shoes to fill. White passed Lilly by recording a total of 111 sacks throughout his career. He earned trips to nine straight Pro Bowls to go along with seven All-Pro first-team honors.

In the running for Defensive Player of the Year for five straight years, he also made it to three Super Bowls for Dallas. In those three appearances, he won Super Bowl XII against the Broncos, and was named Super Bowl MVP.

No. 4 - Larry Allen

One of the best offensive linemen in history, Larry Allen played wherever the Cowboys needed him. He made 11 Pro Bowl appearances (10 of which with Dallas), as well as six straight first team All-Pro honors, paving the way for the Cowboys’ success. 

His ten Pro Bowls with the Cowboys is the most appearances for a Cowboys offensive player. One of the most recent additions to the Cowboys Ring of Honor, he won his only Super Bowl appearance in 1996, when Dallas defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers.
