2026 Eagles Next Offensive Coordinator Odds: Top Possible Candidates

The Philadelphia Eagles again are in search of an offensive coordinator after moving on from Kevin Patullo, who was dismissed following the team's Wild Card loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
As interviews for the position take place, preprod.bookies.com has put together hypothetical NFL betting odds for who will get the gig.
Eagles Offensive Coordinator Odds
The search is currently focused on finding an "established name" with significant play-calling experience. Former head coaches Brian Daboll and Mike McDaniel were originally the frontrunners, though both are also head coach candidates for the Bills. Also, McDaniel accepted the Chargers' OC job, should he not become the head man in Buffalo.
The following chart and table represent projected betting odds and implied probabilities based on candidate status, interview schedules, and insider reports from outlets like The Athletic and CBS Sports.
Next Eagles Offensive Coordinator Odds
| Candidate | Current Odds | Previous Odds | Movement |
| Brian Daboll (Former NYG HC) | +300 | +250 | ⬇️ |
| Matt Nagy (Former KC OC) | +450 | +800 | ⬆️ |
| Declan Doyle (Bears OC) | +550 | N/A | 🆕 |
| Mike Kafka (Giants OC) | +700 | +700 | ↔️ |
| Frank Reich (Former PHI OC) | +900 | +600 | ⬇️ |
| Jim Bob Cooter (Colts OC) | +1200 | +1000 | ⬇️ |
| Zac Robinson | OFF | +450 | ❌ |

Key Updates from the Last 48 Hours
- Zac Robinson is OFF the Board: He was a popular name earlier this week, but he has officially signed as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' new offensive coordinator (announced Jan 22).
- Brian Daboll Intel: While he remains the "odds-on favorite" for many because of his Jalen Hurts ties, reports from Jan 21-22 suggest he is prioritizing the Buffalo Bills head coaching job (vacant after Sean McDermott's firing). If he doesn't get that, he is also now heavily linked to Robert Saleh’s staff in Tennessee as their OC. Something to monitor: The Eagles have the roster talent, but Daboll might prefer a "cleaner" situation if he views Sirianni as a "lame duck" coach.
- New Interview Request – Declan Doyle: The Eagles officially requested permission on Jan 22 to interview the Chicago Bears' offensive coordinator. At 29 years old, he is a "rising star" candidate who helped Chicago to the No. 2 seed this year. He could be the first "Ben Johnson tree" candidate to emerge across the NFL.
- Matt Nagy Emergence: Nagy interviewed with the Eagles on Jan 21. His contract in Kansas City reportedly expired, and with Eric Bieniemy returning to the Chiefs, Nagy is a "proven commodity" free agent with deep Philly roots. Nagy was the runner-up to Robert Saleh for the Titans HC job. Nagy spent 2008–2012 in Philly and is highly respected by the front office. He is arguably the most "NFL-ready" play-caller available who doesn't have immediate HC baggage.
Daboll, Nagy Top Contenders
Key Takeaways from the Search:
Urgency for Experience: After the struggles of Kevin Patullo in 2025, Howie Roseman and Nick Sirianni are reportedly prioritizing veteran play-callers who can immediately maximize the talents of Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, and the receiving corps.
The "Head Coach" Tier: Both Daboll and Nagy are the consensus top choices. However, their availability for a coordinator role will depend on how the HC cycles play out.
Of interest: Next Cleveland Browns Head Coach Odds.
The Power Dynamic: Reporting indicates that candidates are seeking "complete autonomy" over offensive operations, similar to the control Kellen Moore exerted during the 2024 Super Bowl season.

Other Possible Candidates
Kliff Kingsbury - A veteran name with a penchant for high-octane passing, Kingsbury was thought to be under serious consideration after "parting ways" with the Commanders. His experience managing dual-threat stars could provide a unique lens for Jalen Hurts’ development, though some wonder if his "Air Raid" roots mesh with the Eagles' heavy investment in Saquon Barkley. As of Jan. 23, there seems to be no traction for him to land in Philly, however.
Mike Kafka - The former Eagles QB and former Giants OC interviewed on January 17. Kafka is a product of the Andy Reid coaching tree and is credited with helping Patrick Mahomes transition into the NFL. His knowledge of the NFC East and his reputation for "modernizing" traditional West Coast concepts make him a strategic choice.
Jim Bob Cooter - The current Colts OC (and former Eagles consultant) interviewed on January 17. Cooter has a long-standing rapport with Sirianni and is widely respected for his work with veteran QBs. He is reportedly looking for an opportunity where he has 100% control over the play-calling duties.
Frank Reich Reunion?
One candidate rising up the board? Frank Reich.
Reich is the sentimental favorite for many in Philadelphia. He was the architect of the 2017 Super Bowl offense and has an "older brother" relationship with Nick Sirianni, who served as Reich’s OC in Indianapolis. Most recently, Reich served as a senior advisor and interim head coach at Stanford in 2025. While he hasn't coached in the NFL since his awful 2023 stint in Carolina, his deep ties to the building and proven ability to design championship-level schemes make him a top-tier candidate for an "established" hire.
